Last night we all witnessed the world premiere of "Que Te Perdone Dios" on Univision. The telenovela starring Zuria Vega and Mark Tacher takes place a few years before their characters are fully grown. This backstory is necessary to understand the plotline that takes place in the present day. Episode 2 has Bruno (Eric Del Castillo) and Fausto (Sergio Goyri) at a bar with the latter asking the former for Renata's (Irán Castillo) hand in marriage. Pablo (Brandon Peniche) is at Renata's home looking for her, but she is nowhere to be found. Constanza (Ana Bertha Espín) asks him to leave. Macaria (Alejandra Garcia) tells Pablo that she will help him reunite with Renata. "Noooo, I want to die," Renata replies as she is told that Pablo died. Macaria overhears Bruno tell Constanza that Fausto and Renata will be getting married in a month.
Renata returns to her home and Macaria tells her that Pablo didn't die and also reveals that her father is going to force her to marry Fausto. The next day Bruno lays the ground on Renata and tell her Fausto is the only one that can give her a good last name. Bruno tells Renata that Fausto doesn't know she is pregnant and he will be asking for her hand in marriage. Macaria tells Pablo that Renata wants to runaway with him. "I am pregnant by a field worker and I am completely in love with him," Renata tells Fausto, hoping that he will not want to marry her anymore. Bruno slaps Renata as Fausto walked away without saying a word. "I wish you had died in your mother womb and you would've never been born," Bruno tells Renata.
Fausto asks Lucio (Alejandro Avila) to kill Pablo. Bruno tells Macaria to leave, but she tells him that he should confide in her as Renata does, they can work together. Evil Macaria tells Renata that Bruno offered Pablo money to leave her alone and he accepted. Tomorrow's episode will have Bruno tempting Macaria with more money to kidnap Renata's baby Abigail. What will happen? Tune in tomorrow to "Que Te Perdone Dios" at 10pm ET/PT on Univision.
