The world premiere of "Que Te Perdone Dios" happened tonight on Univision. Based on a Caridad Bravo Adams original, the soap stars Zuria Vega and Mark Tacher. This first episode takes place a few years back, where Zuria's Abigal character has not been born yet and Mark's Mateo is still a young boy. Episode 1 has Renata (Irán Castillo) at a vineyard and picking up some juicy grapes. She goes back home and her father Bruno (Eric Del Castillo) is upset because she's "exhibiting" herself in front of the field workers. Pablo (Brandon Peniche) and Renata exchange looks that tell us they have more going on. Macaria (Alejandra Garcia) helps Renata out leaving the hacienda, she wants to soak in a reservoir. Pablo runs into her as she skinny dips and joins her in the water. "Renata, I love you so much, I love you with all my heart," Pablo tells her as he suggest to run away with him. Renata doesn't want to run away with him.
We meet Fausto (Sergio Goyri) who wants to marry Renata. Macaria hears his intentions and gets extremely upset. Fausto tells her that she is nobody. Macaria runs out and makes a promise that she will not let Renata marry Fausto. Macaria returns to the house and informs Bruno that Renata did not return with her. She then reveals that Renata is with Pablo, which infuriates Bruno who then grabs a gun and goes after his daughter. When Bruno arrives to Pablo's "jacal" they both are caught off-guard. Bruno knocks Pablo out and takes Renata away with him. Bruno has Renata locked up in her room and fires Macaria for being an accomplice. Macaria helps Renata escape by giving her the keys. As she is walking out of the house, Bruno catches her. Renata kneels down in front of Bruno and implores him to not kill Pablo.
Pablo finds out that Fausto is going to propose to Renata. Bruno lights Pablo's "jacal" on fire while he's still inside. "Doña Constanza, I'm here for your daughter," Pablo says appearing behind Renata's mom. What will happen tomorrow? "Que Te Perdone Dios" airs Monday through Friday at 10pm ET/PT on Univision.
