Zuria Vega and Mark Tacher star in Univision's brand new telenovela, "Que Te Perdone Dios." So far we had not seen neither in the promos airing on the network as the first phase will take place in the past. In the newest preview we finally see Vega roaming around a ranch with Sergio Goyri's character looming over and protecting her from any individual that approaches her. In one of the takes he forcefully grabs her as she is able to get away from him. Naturally, Goyri is the villain and in love with the poor Abigail who is unaware of her dark past. The melodrama produced by the same team of "Lo Que La Vida Me Robó" and "Abismo De Pasión" will premiere first on the Spanish-language network before Mexico's air date. "Que Te Perdone Dios" is a remake of "Abrázame Muy Fuerte," based on a Caridad Bravo Adams original. Other actors in this new soap include Rebecca Jones, Erik Del Castillo, Sabine Moussier as well as Irán Castillo and Brandon Peniche in limited roles. The previous remake was the story of Cristina (Victoria Ruffo), a young girl whose sweet disposition endears her to everyone at “El Platanal,” her father’s beautiful hacienda. Her father, Don Severiano Alvarez, is a rugged, iron-willed rancher. His foreman, Diego Hernández, is a strong, handsome young man who is madly in love with Cristina, and she surrenders herself, body and soul, to his passion. Cristina admits to her father that she is pregnant with Diego’s child. Severiano sends her to the city with her servant Raquela. There, her daughter is born. Federico Rivero (Cesar Evora), a cruel and greedy individual, takes advantage of this situation and arranges for the baby María del Carmen (Aracely Arámbula) to be brought to the hacienda as Raquela’s daughter. In order to be close to her daughter, Cristina is forced to marry Federico. From this moment on, she will pass as María del Carmen’s “Godmother.” Federico causes an accident that leaves Cristina blind, and takes possession of her fortune.
