PS4 Teaser Trailer Released By Sony Just One Day Ahead Of Microsoft Event [VIDEO]

Not to be outdone by Microsoft, Sony unveils a blurry teaser trailer of the new Playstation 4 just one day before rival Xbox's big reveal.

The trailer shows some close ups of the system, but it is difficult to see what the console really looks like due to the blurry images from the distance then the hard-to-decipher geometric shapes when the camera is up close, but one thing is clear: Sony is actually going to show us what the PS4 looks like.

Back in February, the company got some flack for holding off on showing gamers the console during their big reveal event.

What you get from the picture is that the console will be black and rectangle-ish. Possibly square. Ok we can't really tell anything from the pictures, but with the release of this trailer you can be certain more will come and we will be getting a clear picture soon. Especially with Microsoft showing off their new console tomorrow.

We do know this is the real deal and not another fake.

Last week a trailer was reportedly released by Sony and contained footage of the new PS4 system. Unfortunately for fans, that video was reported as a fake by Sony. The 44-second video showed fans watching an already announced PS4 game, "Infamous: Second Son," and cut back to facial reaction shots with every scene watched. The video quality was fabulous, but if you take into account that no new information was added for fans the trailer becomes questionable.

In the coming months of the console wars we can expect to see tons of releases, trailers and release dates.

Sony jumped out ahead by revealing its console first, but Microsoft now has a big opportunity to answer some of the questions left dangling by the PS4 reveal.

The war is on and it's getting nasty. It's still very early for both companies, but both need to build a lot of buzz around their respective consoles since both are aiming for a fall release date. And since both consoles are fighting to be a stable piece in every household, the buzz better be good.
