With the highly anticipated release of 'FIFA 14' approaching, sports video game enthusiasts look forward to the latest edition in a long and successful line of games created by the Electronic Arts Company. Thanks to the creation of some of the most realistic and entertaining games ever to hit the market, the FIFA soccer series continues to sell at high volume each and every year since gamers always look for the most realistic gameplay that will bring them closer to the actual routine of a professional soccer player.
While the official launce of 'FIFA 14' is still 2 weeks away, sports enthusiasts and video game fans will be happy to learn that another popular soccer game recently debuted its demo version. Available for play on PlayStation3 and Xbox 360, Konami's 'Pro Evolution Soccer 2014' was officially released on Tuesday, September 11. PES may struggle to compete with the ultra-popular FIFA series but because the game offers many of the same features as its rival, gamers will enjoy time spent playing this realistic soccer game as well.
Included in the demo, gamers will enjoy the option of playing with 11 different professional clubs, 3 more than that of the 'FIFA 14' demo. Along with Bundesliga power Bayern Munich, each player will have the availability to play as Manchester United, Santos FC, Colo-Colo, Boca Juniors and international clubs Germany, England, Italy, Spain, France and Portugal.
The PES demo will also allow players to adjust the game to their liking with the exception of game time. Each half will contain 5 non-adjustable minutes but users will be permitted to change the game plan, stadium (Allianz Arena or Konami Stadium), time of day, season (summer or winter) and the difficulty, which ranges from beginner to super star.
One glaring difference between 'Pro Evolution Soccer 2014' and 'FIFA 14' is that PES is the only soccer game that includes both the UEFA Champions League and Europa League. Playing as some of the top clubs in the world, gamers will also enjoy the option of playing with these teams through the competitive on-line mode, setting up the potential for some great tournaments and single game action in the gaming world.
The official release date for 'Pro Evolution Soccer 2014' in Europe is September 20 with the North American launch coming on September 24. These dates include all games for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation3 systems.
