A new Pokemon has been revealed for "Pokemon X" and "Pokemon Y." Pyroar, an evolution of Litleo will be in the new game. Pyroar is a fire and normal-type Royal Pokemon with "a great mane of burning flames" whose abilities include Rivalry and Unnerve. According to The Pokemon Company, Pyroar can learn the Normal-type move Echoed Voice. This is just the latest in the news The Pokemon Company has revealed about their upcoming handheld game.
The Pokemon Company talked about Pyroar's powers saying, "which makes its power grow with every turn. Its power will increase even if other Pokémon use it, so try Echoed Voice out with your allies in Double Battles and Triple Battles to experience its real value." Pyroar evolves from Litleo, a Pokemon revealed in June with a new move for the series, Noble Roar, which lowers your target's Attack stat.
Previously reported by Latin Times, three old favorite Pokemon will receive Mega Evolutions. "Pokemon X & Y" Director Junichi Masuda confirmed the first generation's Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle can be chosen in the new game. The three Kanto starter Pokémon will be able to Mega Evolve once evolving to their final evolutions of Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise, respectively.
Also reported at the latest Pokemon Direct presentation, it was announced that gamers will be able to use a cloud service known as the "Pokemon Bank" to allow players to store up to 3,000 Pokemon via the Internet. Players will also be able to transfer old Pokemon from the Black & White Pokemon games to the Pokemon Bank for an annual fee.
"Pokemon X" and "Pokemon Y" will hit the Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo 2DS on October 12. The game will retail for $39.99, each.
