It's been almost a year since Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas tied the knot in both Indian and Christian weddings, and the Hollywood couple show no signs of their love fizzling out. So much so that pregnancy rumors have been hounding the couple as many can't wait to see what a little Priyanka and Nick mix would look like. In a recent interview, Priyanka said that she couldn't wait to start a family with Nick - and that if it were to happen, it'd be a welcomed blessing.
However she went on to say that as open they are to having a little one soon, it may have to take a back seat due to both of their busy schedules. In an interview with People, Priyanka mentioned that she hadn't put much thought into having a baby yet - especially since she and Nick have several projects on their plates. "We’re both very driven, we love our work, we’re married to our work, and we’re both very supportive of each other’s work. So I’m sure it will happen in an organic way", said Priyanka.
The couple got together after Nick sent Priyanka a Twitter DM in September 2016 suggesting that they meet up per the recommendation of several mutual friends. They moved on to texting, and eventually crossed paths in February 2017 during the Vanity Fair Oscars Party where Nick got down on one knee in front of Priyanka and said, "You're real. Where have you been all my life?"
After several months of dating, traveling around together, of meeting each other's parents, Nick finally popped the question in Greece. He had waited until 12 midnight after Priyanka's birthday to get down on his knee again to propose with a ring he bought from Tiffany and co. The Quanitco actor was apparently so stunned that she was speechless for 45 seconds before Nick slid the ring onto her finger with no objections.
Priyanka has been busy shooting and now promoting her latest film, The Sky is Pink, which marks her return to Bollywood. It's been three years since she's shot a Hindi film and she will be starring alongside Farhan Akhtar, Rohit Saraf and Zaira Wasim.
She shared that the movie was a good break from the same role that she's been playing for the past three years on Quantico. "The Sky is Pink" is a movie based on the true story of Aisha Chaudhary, a motivational speaker who was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis when she was 18-years-old.
