Princess Beatrice, Edoardo Mozzi Engaged: Is Everything Okay Between Them?

All is not well in the royal family. The speculations surrounding Princess Beatrice’s low-key wedding intensifies, as things seem far from rosy for the royal bride to be. And, the princess looks far from happy.

A recent set of private pictures from her recent outing surfaced on the internet. What one gets to see in the photographs is a clearly agitated Beatrice, as she drank with fiancé Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, 36, and an unknown friend. The three were hanging out at The Walmer Castle pub in London.

While an altercation hadn’t broken out, the vibe of the trio seemed far from cheery. What’s strange is that Princess Beatrice didn’t seem her happy usual self while she drank with Mozzi. Maybe, those were just a series of photographs clicked during a serious conversation and fans are reading too much into it, or maybe, the wedding preps might just be getting to her. Either way, it was sad to spot the otherwise vivacious princess sport a forlorn expression.

It is also important to remember that the British royal family is wading through tough times—her father, Prince Andrews’, alleged involvement in a murky sex scandal could be one of the concerns too. Aside from these allegations of impropriety tarnishing the family image, it is irrefutably dulling the sparkle around Princess Beatrice’s wedding.

Up until now, the royal household has been rather tight-lipped about Princess Beatrice’s wedding. It is said that the allegations of sexual abuse against her father have really shaken insiders, and extensive efforts are being made to prove Prince Andrew’s non-involvement in the sex scandal, involving the disgraced and deceased billionaire Jeffrey Epstein.

What’s adding insult to the injury is how elitist designers are, reportedly, turning their backs towards Princess Beatrice’s wedding dress requests. The princess is aware that comparisons will be drawn between her and the Duchess’ of Cambridge and Sussex, but can’t seem to be doing much about it. As far as credible sources are concerned, it has been reported that “the royal wedding 2020 will be paid for privately.”
