Prince Royce is stepping his game up! The 26-year-old is currently promoting his new album “Double Vision,” as well as his U.S. Tour next to pop sensation Ariana Grande. Known as a Bachata singer in Latin America, Royce decided to step out of his comfort zone and present this new album that includes pop, R&B and Hip-Hop sounds, which are normally not related to the Bronx native.
During an interview with The Guardian, Royce explains: “There’s a reason why I decided to name the record Double Vision. I have a double perspective, two different visions.” As the singer aims to crossover, and to achieve International fame collaborating with artists such as Pitbull, Jennifer Lopez, Tyga, and more, one must ask…where does he find his inspiration?
According to El Espectador, the “Back It Up” performer is aware that part of his success is due to his female fan support and before he starts working on a new song, he asks himself if his fans would like it: “When I am writing a song, I definitely take them into consideration. I always ask ‘Will the girls like it?’ I am very thankful for all the fans that are connected with me. Women have always had an important place in my story.”
And to make all of you hard core fans out there happy, here is the message Prince Royce chose to send to you during an interview with Telemundo's Cynthia Bagué: “My fans know they are my girlfriends, they are all my girlfriends.”
