Queen Elizabeth II gifted the Duke and Duchess of Sussex with the sprawling 10-bedroom residence after their May 19, 2018, wedding at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle. Frogmore Cottage is situated within the private Home Park.

Even though Windsor holds a special place in Meghan and Prince Harry’s heart, they were so grateful to the Queen for her generous gift, that’s why they couldn’t pass the opportunity of accepting the offer.
