Prince Charles used to take his two sons, Prince William and Prince Harry, to Klosters, Switzerland for their ski trips. During one of his vacations, the future king went on a one-on-one slope race with his youngest son.
In an unearthed video, a young Prince Harry is smiling while wearing green and black winter gear. He paired his clothes with his striking orange skates. Prince Charles, on the other hand, is wearing an all-blue ensemble, which he paired with his red bonnet and black skates.
The less than two-minute video opens with Prince Charles and Prince Harry racing each other on the slopes. It was evident that the two male royals have been skiing for quite a bit because they both managed to keep their balance.
Prince Charles was always in front of Prince Harry, but the young royal didn’t seem to mind. At one point, they even showed some of the tricks by moving in a diagonal direction.
Toward the end of the video, Prince Charles and Prince Harry are seen standing on the slopes with huge smiles on their faces. They are talking to each other and looking straight at the cameras. As of late, it is still unclear whether or not Prince William and Princess Diana joined the two royals on their trip.
But Klosters has become one of the royals’ most favorite destinations. Prince William and Kate Middleton previously traveled to Klosters when they were still just boyfriend and girlfriend. The couple was photographed skiing on the thick ice in 2008.
Prior to this, Prince Charles also traveled to Klosters with his two sons when they were already teenagers. In March 2005, the trio was photographed wearing their ski gear in a combination of different colors.
In 1987, Prince Charles was also photographed skiing with his wife, Princess Diana, in Klosters. The couple was joined by Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson at that time. In the snap, the royal couples all look very happy. And in 1990, Prince Charles posed for photos in Klosters with his eldest son, Prince William.
