The split between the Cambridges and Sussexes is finally official for the Royal Foundation site.

The official site of “ The Royal Foundation”, a charity foundation vehicle founded by Prince William and Prince Harry in 2009, had finally made changes to reflect the splitting of charity works of the Cambridge couple and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had been removed as “principals” of the foundation, People reported. Furthermore, the Sussex couple’s personal projects such as the “Invictus Games”, “Empowering Communities” and community cookbook had been removed under the Programs section.

The changes on the site does not come as a surprise as the split in charity work structures between the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex had been announced back in June.

“The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will establish their own new charitable foundation with transitional operating support from The Royal Foundation,” the History section reads.

The changes were designed to complement work and responsibilities of the royals, to alight charitable activities with their respective households and to aid in their preparation for their future roles, the site described.

From the royal brothers’ “The Royal Foundation”, the charity vehicle is to be called “The Royal Foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge”.

“Driven by a desire to make a difference together, The Royal Foundation is the primary philanthropic and charitable vehicle for The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge,” the Royal Foundation wrote in its new description.

“Our programmes support a broad and ambitious spectrum of activities, bringing people, ideas and resources together to understand issues, explore creative solutions and be a catalyst for long-term impact. ”

The Cambridges’ five focus advocacies include the following: mental health, conservation, service, young people and early years.

Prince William and Kate Middleton will be continuing past projects from their joint foundation such as the “Heads Up” – a mental health initiative in partnership with the Football Association (FA), “United for Wildlife” – a task force aimed to combat illegal wildlife trade – and “Mentally Healthy Schools” – website that makes mental health resources accessible for primary school faculty and staff.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced in July that their new charity foundation would be named “Sussex Royal The Foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex ” or Sussex Royal” which was synonymous to their Instagram handle.
