Amidst rumours of their feud with the Royal family over spending Christmas with Meghan Markle’s mother, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex took to their social media handle on 14th November, in order to mark the auspicious day of Prince Charles' 71st birthday.

The royal couple shared an unseen picture from their son, Prince Archie’s baptism where the Prince of Wales can be seen gazing proudly at the Duke of Sussex’s first-born.

The black and white picture of the special day was posted by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex on their official Instagram page. The caption read: “Happy birthday to His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales - Sir, Pa, Grandpa!”

Before that, Prince William and his wife Kate had shared a picture of Prince Charles from his 70th birthday celebrations, where he is seen holding the hand of Prince Louis at Clarence House.

And it looks like even the Queen followed the “baby-centric” birthday wishes as even her Instagram account shared an image of a child, but this time it was an old picture of Prince Charles himself from the summer of 1949 as he is raised in the air by his father Prince Philip. The picture was accompanied by a short and sweet message as well: "Wishing a very Happy Birthday to The Prince of Wales!"

The prince’s own royal office, Clarence House, also wished him early in the morning with a post featuring a series of photos of Charles celebrating his birthday with children in Mumbai.

"Today The Prince of Wales turns 71!" Clarence House wrote. "During a @thebritishasiantrust event in Mumbai this morning, HRH was given a birthday card and cake from school children."

Prince Charles celebrated his birthday with the school children in Mumbai, whose education is supported by a charitable foundation working in collaboration with his British Asian Trust. The children gave him a present which featured the stories of Hindu deity Krishna, told with tiny figures in three bonsai gardens.
