The "Price Is Right" lawsuit, in which former model Brandi Cochran alleged show producers released her from her occupational duties because of her pregnancy, was invalidated by the California judge who originally sided with the plaintiff, Cochran.

Judge Kevin Brazile, who originally sided against "The Price Is Right" and parent company Fremantle Media, awarding Cochran $8.5 million in damages, said Tuesday he improperly instructed the jury prior to their private deliberations. According to FOX News, Brazile neglected to inform the jury that they needed to decide whether discrimination was a substantial factor to the show's producers when they decided to release Cochran.

The technicality initiated the model's attorney, Carney Sherigan, to respond saying he will pursue "triple or quadruple" the former settlement. In regard to the 2007 incident, the producers said that Cochran did not prove that they knew of her pregnancy-related depression she cited in the case, and claimed there was no substantial evidence to demonstrate her pregnancy was the reason they failed to rehire her after maternity leave.
