‘Pretty Little Liars’ Season 4 Theories: Why Was Ali With Ezra The Night She Disappeared?

The “Pretty Little Liars” Season 4 finale is slowly approaching and fans of the mystery series will finally get some of the answers they deserve. In episode 24, “A If For Answers” fans will finally get to see the true account of what happened leading up to Alison’s disappearance, but we should clarify nothing is ever set in stone with “Pretty Little Liars.” Although, at least this time we will be getting Alison’s account of the events, which is possibly the most authentic tale of the now infamous evening. After discovering recently released promo pictures for episode 24, fans learned that Ali had a meeting with none other than Ezra on the night of her disappearance, while the reason for the meeting is still unknown, the actual hang out isn’t too shocking because it seems that Alison was seen with literally everyone in Rosewood the night she went missing. So what’s another quick pit stop before running away and faking your own death, right?

The main part of this meeting that we want to get to the bottom of is, why exactly this pair was having a secret conversation in Ezra’s car? So we are breaking down the top 5 theories as to why Ezra and Ali were together the night of her disappearance, because we know he has a bigger role to the story then just being an aspiring true crime author.

1. One of the more plausible reasons why Ezra and Ali met up on the night of her disappearance is because she went to him for help. It is possible that Ali went to Ezra in a desperate attempt for him to help her after discovering who was threatening her. This would make more sense as to why he so intensely wanting to discover the mystery of her departure, if Ali did trust him so completely then that adds another layer of complexity to his relationship with not only Ali but also Aria.

2. If Ali didn’t seek out Ezra, it is a possibility that Ezra sought Ali out in order to help her. He could have been the one to seek her out, maybe his investigative senses were tingling before she left Rosewood and he realized that “A” was going after her. Ali doesn’t look too pleased in the promotional images for episode 24 “A Is For Answers” which could mean that when Ezra came groveling to help her she was annoyed and dismissed him and his help. His obsession with Ali most likely began way before she left her hometown which would explain his intense search.

3. Another possibility could be that instead of Wilden, Ezra is actually “Beach Hottie.” We already know that Ezra is Board Shorts, so could he also be the guy who though he got Ali pregnant. Maybe Ezra thought he was once again going to have a child out of wedlock and decided to confront her about it.

4. If he didn’t get her pregnant, then maybe Ezra and Ali did have a sincere connection, at least according to him. It could have be a coincidence that the pair meet the night that she disappeared to discuss their relationship and Ezra’s desire to express his feelings. He seems very dedicated to Ali even though he is no longer with him, so it would make sense that his love for Ali was rowing stronger and he wanted to tell her, something that we are assuming she didn’t receive with the same amount of tenderness.

5. In the complete opposite direction, Ezra may have wanted to meet Ali because the love he had for her had seriously soured. His intentions with Ali could have been both deceitful and with malice intentions from the gecko, we don’t know much about Ezra’s past so it is possible that he was threatening her that night.
