Tonight’s episode of “Pretty Little Liars” has been highly anticipated by fans of the dramatic series, however it may be much more of an emotional rollercoaster than they were expecting. In episode 21, “She’s Come Undone” Aria will deal with the implications of her time boyfriend, and English teacher Ezra being exposed. While fans were anticipating Ezra to be unmasked as the villainous “A,” they were left disappointed, however, that doesn’t mean Aria and Ezra came out of episode 20 “Free Fall” unscathed. The broken hearted Aria will attempt to come to grips with her boyfriend’s deplorable betrayal, but not before she finds out the whole truth for herself.

Tonight will obviously focus a lot on Aria and it will be an intense experience, as she embarks on discovering who she has really fallen in love with. Her first thought after learning the devastating news is to confront him face to face, explaining to the other Liars, “I need to speak to Ezra face-to-face. I don’t know where the truth begins and the lies end.” Despite Spencer’s warnings against this brash plan, Aria busts into Ezra’s classroom set on getting to the bottom of his relationship with her missing friend, Alison but instead is shocked to see a substitute. After an awkward run in with the sub, which will certainly be the topic of gossip at Rosewood High Aria decides to look for answers in the one place she thought she knew best, Ezra’s apartment. The main piece of evidence that Aria discovers during her ransack was his personal journal. The journal is full of details about not only his relationship with Aria, but also his life with Alison. Keeping with the theme that Ezra is not “A” but instead just a dedicated past lover, obsessed with finding the truth behind Alison’s disappearance Ezra references his top suspects for Alison’s killer. He believes that Jason killed his sister mainly due to the fact that he couldn’t remember anything from the night of her disappearance and had no idea where he was.

In addition to being privy to all the details surrounding Alison’s supposed murder, Ezra is tuned into the work of “A.” He also has knowledge of the new “A” that surfaced after Mona spent her time at Radley. While all of this information is enough to send Aria spiraling out of control, the worst part of Ezra’s journal is yet to come. In one excerpt that Aria reads, Ezra seems delighted that Aria does not suspect him of being unfaithful. He explains that she does not suspect him of stalking her and her friends in order to get to Alison. Once the already emotional Aria reads this bit, she can no longer control her rage and flies into a destructive frenzy. Destroying Ezra’s apartment, a place she once considered safe.
