'Pokemon Omega Ruby,' 'Pokemon Alpha Sapphire' Distribution: Learn How To Get Mythical Mew

The Pokémon Company and Nintendo are going pretty big for the 20th anniversary of Pokémon. Earlier this month it was announced eleven mythical Pokémon will be distributed once a month this year starting Feb. 1 with Mew.

Mew is one of the eleven Mythical Pokémon that will be distributed via code from participating GameStops for the 20th anniversary of Pokémon. While connected to the internet, select Mystery Gift > Receive Gift > Get With Code > and enter the code in "Pokémon Omega Ruby," "Alpha Sapphire," "X," or "Y" between the event dates to download this Pokémon to your game. Visit the nearest Pokémon Center and speak with the delivery person inside to add this Pokémon to your team.

All the distributed Pokémon will be at level 100, in a Cherish Ball, and have a Classic Ribbon. Their original Trainer is "GF", and they each are met at "a lovely place."

Additionally, gamers will receive a Wonder Card. All Wonder Cards are viewable from the Card Album in the Mystery Gift Menu. Only 24 Wonder Cards can be held on a game cartridge.
