June is officially here and so is the all-new distribution for the fifth mythical Pokémon in the 20th anniversary giveaway, Manaphy. This event is available for gamers with the titles "Pokémon X," "Pokémon Y," "Pokémon Omega Ruby" and "Pokémon Alpha Sapphire" titles.
Originally, Manaphy could be obtained in "Pokémon Diamond" and "Pokémon Pearl," but its egg first had to be obtained in the Nintendo DS game "Pokémon Ranger." The mythical Pokémon will come at level 100 with the Hydration ability and the Tail Glow move set, Bubble and Water Sport.
Gamers cannot obtain Manaphy in the wild, but getting this mythical creature is much easier in June as it will be available through the Nintendo Network, as opposed to last month's 20th anniversary Pokémon Darkrai.
While connected to your game, make sure your 3DS is connected to the Internet and select Mystery Gift, then Receive Gift and Get Via Internet. Afterward, visit the nearest Pokémon Center and speak with the delivery person inside to add this Pokémon to your roster.
Meanwhile, The Pokémon Company is giving gamers another chance to catch the mythical Pokémon Mew. The distribution was limited for the 20th anniversary giveaway, where gamers had to pick up a distribution code from local retailers.
The company has now decided everyone who signs up to get the Pokémon Trainer Club newsletter before June 1 will get that same Mew as a code during that month. If you are already receiving the newsletter, then all you have to do is sit back and wait patiently. If not, sign up here.
Mew came at level 100 with the Synchronize ability and the Pound move. Mew will be available for "Pokemon X and Y" as well as "Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire."
