Early this year The Pokémon Company celebrated its 20th anniversary and with it the company announced a year long distribution of some of the most rare Pokémon out there.
The first Pokémon on that list wasfor the mythical Mew, which is probably the hardest Pokémon to get unless you haveve been playing the franchise since the beginning. The distribution was mostly through serial codes gamers could get through local retailers. The Mew came at level 100 with the ability Synchronize and the move Pound.
As the distribution was very limited, a lot of gamers missed out and now The Pokémon Company is giving out a second chance. Everyone who has signed up to get the Pokémon Trainer Club newsletter before June 1 will get that same Mew as a code during that month. If you have not signed up do it here before it is too late. If you are already receiving the newsletter, then all you have to do is sit back and wait patiently.
Mew will be available on "Pokémon Omega Ruby," "Pokémon Alpha Sapphire," "Pokémon X" and "Pokémon Y." According to The Pokémon Company, gamers who receive a code must enter it into their 3DS titles by Aug. 31, 2016.
Another Pokémon you can grab in June as part of the mythical distribution is Manaphy, which could originally be obtained in "Pokémon Diamond" and "Pokémon Pearl." The water-type creature will come in at level 100 and have the ability Hydration. Its move set will include Tail Glow, BubbleWater and Sport. Gamers will be able to receive Manaphy as a gift through the Nintendo online network.
Meanwhile, the Darkrai distribution has ended. This May giveaway offered a special level 100 Darkrai to all players of "Pokémon X and Y" along with "Pokémon Omega and Alpha Sapphire." And unlike the previous two mythical distributions, this one was obtained by grabbing a code from your local retailer. The mythical dark-type Pokémon comes in at level 100 and has the ability Bad Dreams. It comes with the move set: Dark Void, Ominous Wind, Nightmare and Feint Attack.
