Sony has revealed a preview of the free games coming for PlayStation Plus members in March. To start PlayStation 4 owners can look forward to fighting off hoards of zombies in the post-apocalyptic thriller “Dead Nation: Apocalypse.” The PS4 version includes updated visual effects and controls along with an interactive broadcast mode! “Dead Nation: Apocalypse Edition” is a top-down shoot ‘em up, set in an apocalyptic, zombie-infested world. The game is developed by Housemarque and is usually $14.99 on the PlayStation Store.
For PS3 owners there are a couple of different options the first being “Tomb Raider.” 2013’s highly-praised reboot of Lara Croft will be completely free for PlayStation Plus subscribers. Owners of the PlayStation 3 system can also look forward to two indie hit games “Thomas Was Alone” which was developed by Curve and “Lone Survivor: Director’s Cut,” a 2D inspired action/adventure thriller-horror game. As a bonus both the “Thomas Was Alone” and “Lone Survivor: Director’s Cut” are cross buy games meaning you get both the PS3 and PS Vita versions.
Last but not least the PlayStation Vita gamers can look forward to third-person mission based shooter “Unit 13.” Then there is “Monster Hunter: Freedom Unite,” which is over 500 hours of gameplay killing monsters and using their corpses to make bigger and better weapons to kill more monsters!
