With only days away, PlayStation Plus subscribers are eagerly awaiting the free games they can get their hand on this March.
In a previous post, it was mentioned that Sony was offering “Team Sonic Racing” and “Ark: Survival Evolved.”
However, it appears that as far as Asian PS Plus subscribers are concerned, there will be some changes. “Ark: Survival Evolved” will not be part of the free games for March and will instead be replaced by “Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons,” per a tweet by PlayStation Asia.
As far as the latter game is concerned, this would be the second time it has been offered a free game to play. It was also offered for free by the Epic Games Store last week. There was no explanation given by PlayStation Asia with regards to the change as of this writing.
According to Game Rant, some subscribers were disappointed that “Ark” Survival Evolved” was taken out of their free game offerings for March.
While Brothers is a more obscure choice for the line-up, the adventure game following two brothers on a quest to save their father's life was well-received by both fans and critics alike.
Perhaps to make up for the change, PlayStation Plus subscribers in Asia will also get “Ghostrunner.” There will be also a bonus title in “Ghost of Tsushima: Legends.”
Also, Rockstar announced that PS Plus subscribers will be able to unlock GTA Online for free for three months following the platform's transition to a standalone title on Mar. 15.
While some may be disappointed with the change, they can enjoy several titles for March that should keep them occupied.
“Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons” is available now for PC, PS3, PS4, Switch, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and mobile devices.
