The Pittsburgh Steelers haven't looked too hot this season, and they've got the 2-5 record to prove it. So when they head to Gillette Stadium to face off against the New England Patriots on Sunday, November 3rd, Steelers fans will hope that their team can steal a win from the Pats and spark a second-half turnaround to what is looking more and more like a lost season for Pittsburgh. This year's Steelers-Patriots matchup might look a little different than in past years: the Pittsburgh defense has been good - ranking fourth in the league - but not up to its usual reputation, either, while New England's offense has been surprisingly weak, ranking 18th in the league. Pats QB Tom Brady has just nine touchdown passes to six interceptions, and 1,824 throwing yards this year. But it should be noted that he has helped his offense pick things up in the last three games, though, averaging 28 points in the last three weeks of action, despite persistent rumors that he was battling an injury to his throwing hand. After the Pats pulled out a win against the Dolphins last week, he told reporters, "I didn't know anyone knows what the back of my right hand looks like, but it looks fine to me and it feels good. I'll be out there next week; you don't have to worry about that."

The Steelers will come off a 21-18 road loss to the Oakland Raiders last week which might be attributed in no small part to two missed kicks from inside 35 yards from kicker Shaun Suisham, though Suisham also booted in one from 47 yards. The Steelers' offense is 23rd-ranked, but Big Ben Roethlisberger will no doubt look to overcome significant injuries to his team's offensive line to make it two straight wins against the Patriots, as well as topple over a couple of milestones in the process: he's one passing TD away from joining legend Terry Bradshaw as the only Steeler to throw at least 200. A win would also make him the fifth-fastest QB to reach 90 regular-season wins as a starter, according to Fox News.
