Antonio Brown is no longer facing a domestic violence charge and his arrest warrant has been recalled. The former Buccaneers and Steelers wide receiver was issued on December 1st for misdemeanor battery domestic violence.
According to the notice, Brown will not be required to appear for any further proceedings on the matter.
The police report says Brown threw a shoe at a woman and struck her in the ponytail. Brown also reportedly threw the woman’s belongings outside of the house before police arrived.
This comes after Brown was reportedly hiding out in his home while police waited for him to come out to arrest him. They eventually left and declared it an active investigation.
Brown’s last NFL appearance came on January 2nd when he walked off the field mid-game against the Jets.
