Two weeks prior to the murder-suicide Francis Adolf tweeted his followers telling them he was leaving the social media site. The father and husband said his marriage was too important, but did not explain what he meant. He then asked followers to prey for his family and himself.

"Goodbye forever Twitter," Adolf wrote. "My marriage is too important. Pray for me, my wife and family. Love you all. Thanks."

Police were conducting a wellbeing check on the family Tuesday when they discovered their bodies. NJ.com reports there was no reported history of domestic violence involving the family. There is no reported explanation as to why the police were conducting a wellbeing check on the home.

Autopsies are scheduled to take place on Thursday August 15 in order to conclusively determine the cause of death for the family. The Pitman, New Jersey community was shocked and shaken by the murders and told NBC they saw no warning signs.

The Mayor of Pitman, Russ Johnson told NBC he felt "shocked and sad. This is my neighborhood. This is my town. Just very sad for the family."

Johnson's young son was a classmate of Frank Jr. Johnson told NBC he has no idea how he will tell his child or any other child that knew Frank Jr. what happened.

"I don't know how to explain to a seven-year-old what could possibly happen," Johnson told NBC. "You've got to do your best as parents but I don't know how I can possibly explain it to my kid -- to any of those kids."

According to News Max, Frank Jr. attended Memorial Elementary School. News Max says the school emailed the families of students to tell them about Frank Jr.'s death.

"Everyone here in the district -- especially those within the Memorial School community -- is heartbroken about the loss of Frankie. We extend our sympathy to all of Frankie's family and friends, and to the wider community of Pitman, on this very sad day," the school said.
