Popular Mexican singer and actor, Pablo Montero, also known as "The Ranchera Hunk," became the third celebrity eliminated from the reality show "Mira Quien Baila." For Pablo, it has been a bittersweet experience to have to say goodbye to the competition, but that doesn’t mean he's sitting in tears.

In an exclusive interview for Latin Times, the 43-year-old Mexican confessed what it meant for him to be a part of MQB, what he is going to miss the most, as well as his plans for the future that include a new tour of concerts, telenovelas, and a special collaboration with singer/songwriter Marco Antonio Solis.

"The truth is that it was a positive and very beautiful experience," says Montero. "I learned a lot, I was able to move in the scenario, I liked very much the choreographies and I enjoyed them and that is the important thing." The artist says that his time in MQB helped him a lot to overcome the fears and the shame to dance. Pablo also says that dancing Merengue was one of the rhythms he really enjoyed. "Merengue was one of the dances that I liked the most, and everyone loved it," Montero said.

"What I am going to miss from 'Mira Quien Baila' is obviously the challenges I had every week and the power you need to have to carry them out," says the singer. "I like all the music, but in this case, it's like the outfits too; you can't wear all the clothes because you just like them, that too I learned. Of course the good and new friends I made; the fresh faces and the possibility to be open with the people. "

Montero's schedule now continues with a series of concerts in the United States, Mexico and the rest of Latin America. Pablo confirmed to Latin Times that Mexican musician, composer, and record producer, Marco Antonio Solis is writing a song just for him, and will be available in "April 2018." Montero still doesn't know the name of the song, but it's quite likely to be the musical theme of a telenovela in which he will be part. "I have two major acting projects next year," Montero said without being able to give more details.

Pablo Montero was born as Óscar Daniel Hernández Rodríguez in August 23, 1974. He got his big break in 1999 when his album Donde Estas, Corazon? (Where Are You, My Heart?) became the number one album on Mexico's charts. The album's success launched his image and led to his acting debut in Vivo Por Elena (I Live for Elena), where he played a struggling young singer.
