Pablo Montero is opening up about his marital status and it doesn't look good. The Mexican singer has confirmed he is getting a divorce from his current wife Caro Van Wielink. "We continue living in the same house," he said. "We are in the process of signing an agreement because I always like to be very organized and everything as the law states, like it should be." In recent days a report was made public that said Montero drugged himself in front of his daughters. The tabloid magazine accused him of this and he is not happy that this news is out there. "I am a very sporty person, one hundred percent," he said. "Obviously, like anybody we have a couple of drinks, but I don't even do that in front of my daughters."
Pablo Montero added: "I don't even do that when we are in a gathering. I am going to take action on the matter, but the most important thing here is that I am who I am. My family and my parents and the people that surround me, know me and know the type of person that I am. They [publication] are messing with the most delicate thing I have, my daughters because I take care of them and I break my soul so that they are good and they have never seen me drink a drop of alcohol. I will proceed and I will take it to where it has to go." Could it be that he will sue the publication for this? It must be horrible reading stuff that is not true.
Previously, Pablo Montero had a rough time during the shooting of the telenovela "Mi Corazón Es Tuyo," which led to producer Juan Osorio to fire him from the series. The Televisa production was filming scenes on location in Coyoacán and he never showed up. According to TVyNovelas, production called his home looking for him and his wife answered the phone telling them she didn't know where she was. Osorio got really upset at the actor as his absence causes production to stall, which means money loss. He warned Montero at the time that if he caused anymore dealys he would get fired.
