Pablo Montero is in hot water once again after failing to show up to work on the set of "El Vuelo De La Victoria." The Televisa producer, Nathalie Larthilleux, was forced to fire the actor from the telenovela as it was not the first time he had caused issues with production. According to Flor Rubio's "Fórmula Espectacular" radio show, Montero had also showed up in an incovenient manner to work. A replacement has not been named yet and Pablo Montero was to star alongside Paulina Goto and Mane De La Parra in a leading role.
This is not the first time Pablo Montero is axed from a telenovela production. In 2014 while filming "Mi Corazón Es Tuyo," producer Juan Osorio cut him after showing lack of discipline. The production was filming scenes on location in Coyoacán and he never showed up. According to TVyNovelas, production called his home looking for him and his wife answered the phone telling them she didn't know where she was. Osorio got really upset at the actor as his absence causes production to stall and money is wasted. He warned Montero that if he caused delays again he would get fired.
There have been rumors of alcohol and drug abuse from Pablo Montero and different productions have had issues with the actor. A Mexican tabloid magazine even accused Montero of drugging himself in front of his daughters. "I am a very athletic person, one hundred percent," he responde. "Obviously, like anybody we have a couple of drinks, but I don't even do that in front of my daughters."
Pablo Montero added: "I don't even do that when we are in a gathering. I am going to take action on the matter, but the most important thing here is that I am who I am. My family and my parents and the people that surround me, know me and know the type of person that I am. They [publication] are messing with the most delicate thing I have, my daughters because I take care of them and I break my soul so that they are good and they have never seen me drink a drop of alcohol. I will proceed and I will take it to where it has to go."
