Autobots, roll out! Optimus Prime, leader of the Autobots, is on his way to Phoenix, Arizona, to save your dull commute! In collaboration with the new "Transformers: Age of Extinction" movie, which hits theaters on June 27, Uber car service is promoting a special Autobot pick-up for its customers in Arizona!
"Get ready for the ride of your life," Uber announced on its blog. "The Autobots are on the move and this is your chance to roll with a robot in disguise."
The Optimus Prime Uber ride will be available in Pheonix, Arizona, on Thursday, June 19, from 1 p.m. through 7 p.m. MST. Uber customers simply open their Uber app and choose the "AUTOBOTS" option before selecting the pick-up location. Finally, hit "ROLL OUT" to summon Optimus. Did we also mention that the ride is free?
"If you're lucky enough to make contact with Optimus, he'll roll out to your location for a 15-minute experience," Uber continued in its blog post. "Keep in mind: There's only one Optimus Prime, so making contact will be difficult and may take many tries. But don't give up!"
Following Phoenix, Arizona, Optimus Prime will then travel to Los Angeles and continue its Uber tour on June 21. Watch the awesome IMAX Transformers 4 trailer below!
