One Direction have a lot of fans in Mexico. Less than a month after being released, their album "Midnight Memories" has been certified Double Platinum by seling over 120,000 copies in Mexico alone. The album launched on November 25th and since than, the British group has seen their Mexican sales soar. The album contains hits such as "Best Song Ever", "Story of My Life", "You & I", "Right Now", 'Little White Lies" and more. The album debuted at number one in 95 countries.
One Direction have capitalized on their Mexican success: the album is now available in a deluxe edition which includes four new songs and a 28-page book with photos of Mexican fans with the boy band. One Direction has also announced a world tour for 2014, having already toured to more than 21 countries around the world this year. They traveled to Ghana in February for Comic Relief. The band's song "Story of My Life" reached the top spot on iTunes and the top 5 on Mexican radio.
One Direction recently won the BRIT Award for 'British Single and their song "Best Song Ever" won the MTV VMA award for "Song of the Summer." The video has had over 170 million views.
