Although the election has come and gone, many people are still salty about the results with Donald Trump winning the presidency. While many celebs openly supported Democratic nominee Hilary Clinton, the result is still a crushing blow. Lebron James and some of the Cleveland Cavaliers refuse to acknowledge Trump as president and with their upcoming trip to NYC the team is not trying to stay anywhere close to Trump Hotel.

According to the NY Daily News, the Cavaliers have made other arrangements for players who do not want to stay at a New York hotel branded by President-elect Donald Trump.

LeBron James and several teammates have decided not to stay at Trump Soho in lower Manhattan this week. The Cavs have booked rooms at the luxury hotel for two days as the team will play the Knicks on Wednesday.

James and many other Cavs teammates were huge supporters of Hilary Clinton's road to the presidency. While he and other players have publicly shared their support, even speaking at her rally stop in Ohio, the basketball star refuses to acknowledge Trump as president, furthermore staying at his hotel.

Many of his teammates including Richard Jefferson, Iman Shumpert and J.R. Smith have expressed their disappointment and anger over Trump's win.

The Cleveland Cavaliers are set to arrive in New York today and their general manager David Griffin revealed that plans for their stay at a separate hotel has been made. Griffin reveals that the organization is respecting the team's decision but he did not share where the members will be staying.
