Niurka Marcos did not mince her words when she was asked about the custody battle Marjorie de Sousa and Julián Gil are feuding over in court. The Cuban actress sided with the actor, but she also slammed the way he appeared in public crying over the situation. In an interview that was broadcasted on Univision's "El Gordo y La Flaca," the "Rica Famosa Latina" star gave her opinion, even though she has nothing to do with the situation, but it's Niurka and she doesn't shy away from controversy.
"The size of the price is the size of their soul because you give kids love, hugs, preparation, schooling, security," she said. "You don't put a price tag and say you're worth this much. We are nobody to take the rights away of a child to be with their father."
She continued: "[Gil] needs to stop crying on screen, he needs to hide because he looks stupid. Men don't need to cry in front of the camera. He is in the right but when he starts crying in camera, he loses. He is right, a child doesn't have a price and he has the right to see him, but he needs to stop crying on camera, men don't need to do that. If he wants to cry, he should go to his pillow."
Last week a judge in México ruled that Julián Gil would be able to see his son Matías for one hour a week, while the process plays out. "All I have asked for is to be able to see him," he told "Dando Candela." "If at this moment they only allow me to see him for an hour, that is what I will do. In all this process what I am fighting for is the rights of my son. I don't think a father should be limited to seeing their child unless they are a delinquent where a father represents a danger to the child, but if they are not a danger, the healthiest thing is to have a normal relationship."
