Ninel Conde has sued her ex and father of her son Giovanni Medina after he accused her of being an alcoholic and a bad mother. The "En Tierras Salvajes" star has fired back and is now suing her former beau for the allegations. "There's a process that I have started and I am going to protect the integrity of my son," she told Televisa Espectáculos. "Ask the man when he has provided a roof to the kid and when he has slept with the kid in one of his homes. I have justice by my side, the one above and the legal one, that protects children and working mother."
The "Bombón Asesino" hitmaker said that Medina was only trying to get back at her because he has not gotten over their breakup and accused him of misogyny. "I think it's of a male chauvinist that if a woman works 24/7 she can't go out with friends," she added. "Women also have the right to have fun and that's why I am an alcoholic? That is misogynistic, it's not cool, he will need to prove that. There's a baby and I do care about my son who will one day see this and I will not trash his father, even though he deserves it. This is the undertone of a man that has not gotten over a breakup, he can't get over that it's all over now."
This is not the first time that Conde and Medina have serious problems publicly. Back in 2014 there was a heated conversation between the two that was leaked. In the taped argument Giovanni used derogatory terms and expletives to refer to his girlfriend. Days later Ninel confirmed she was expecting her second child and was three months pregnant. Conde revealed she decided to remain silent and not break the news to media because she wanted to surpass the first three months which are the most important. "There have been many rumors around this situation and the time has come to confirm the news," she said. "Thank God, it is a blessing that has come to my life after wishing it for many years. Today I can confirm that I am pregnant, I have three months and I feel very happy."
Medina has an obscure past and the Telemundo gossip show "Suelta La Sopa" revealed some aspects of his life that leave a lot to be desired. Singer Dulce said that her daughter dated Giovanni in the past and had trouble with him, while Niurka Marcos has accused him of ripping tires and dismantling cars. Giovanni has always said he is from Spain, but his neighbors denied those claims saying that Medina's father is Mexican. Neighbors also raise questions as to where Giovanni gets his money from, even stating he calls paparazzi to snap photos of celebrities. These people also affirm that he was probably the one to leak the tapes that surfaced weeks ago. The neighbors also fear for Ninel's life as she might be in danger.
