Ninel Conde went back to the scene of the crime, well not a crime really, but a goof. Earlier today she was made fun of when she tweeted a message about Hurricane Patricia that seemingly contradicted what authorities were advising the citizens of México. "Praying for our brothers from Jalisco, Nayarit and Colima; leave," she tweeted. Don't stay in your homes." A backlash ensued and she was the butt of jokes as people didn't understand her message. We think she probably meant to leave their homes if they are in an unsafe zone and look for a shelter where you will be able to withstand the storm. Her thought seemed incomplete and memes were created making light of the slip-up.
The "Bombón Asesino" took to Twitter again to clarify her message to put things to rest. "For the teachers," she wrote. "People that are in the riskiest zone don't want to leave their homes to go to the shelters. You should pray instead." Conde put her detractors in place and now we actually know what she meant. It's all Twitter's fault isn't it? For limiting our thoughts to only 140-characters. In a serious matter, Hurricane Patricia the strongest on record surpassing Hurricane Andrew and Katrina. The system is expected to reach up to 200-mph sustained winds with higher gusts and produce rainfall from 8 to 12 inches. The rain could produce "life-threatening flash floods and mud slides," according to the National Hurricane Center.
