The saga over the Ninel Conde and Juan Zepeda drama continues. "El Bombón Asesino's" ex-husband was released from jail this week after seven months. Zepeda had been making time after Conde accused him of fraud. The "Fuego En La Sangre" actress claims he stole over a million dollars from her using checks after they had separated. At the time court date, Conde was only able to prove $470,000 had been stolen but failed to provide proof for the rest of the money. The star said she was willing to negotiate with her former husband.
Last month, Giovanni Medina, Ninel's new beau talked to the cameras of "Ventaneando" given an update to this mess. "[We are] very close to a negotiation," he said. "I think that we’ll agree to something very soon and the mister can get his stuff together and move on with his life.” When he was asked about the terms that were being discussed in order for both parts to reach an agreement, he replied: “To compensate for the damage and it all will be over.” The nightmare for Zepeda inside Reclusorio Norte is over now after a judge dismissed four checks that Conde provided as proof of the fraud.
Juan Zepeda was arrested on February 3 when 30 cops surrounded him without giving him any details. Later he found out that he was being accused of the following charges: copyright infractions, fraud and stealing from his former wife Ninel Conde. The couple announced their breakup after seven years of marriage August 2013. The news came after months of speculation of domestic violence and a possibility of a third person involved. "Through this statement I would like communicate that my husband Juan Zepeda and I, Ninel Conde, are going through a very hurtful situation for some time now," said the statement. "It has been seven years of marriage, for which we both ask for respect on this issue. We would also like to make it clear that this decision has nothing to do with violence and no third party's have been involved in this relationship."
