Rumor has it that Nicole Scherzinger is getting engaged to longtime boyfriend, Formula 1 racer, Lewis Hamilton.
Although their relationship hasn't been easy, especially because Nicole's view of romance isn't what some people would call "conventional" and she doesn't believe in fairytales, the singer and X Factor judge says she's proud to be with someone who is willing to work at a relationship and who she trusts and can communicate with.
There has been a lot of speculation about when they will tie the knot, with Lewis explaining he is starting to feel ready to take the next step.
"We've been together for five years, which is quite a milestone really," he told British newspaper The Sun. "But hopefully in the near future. Maybe before we get to six years."

Hamilton and Scherzinger have been in an on-again, off-again relationship since 2008. They split up in 2010 and later reunited, then broke off an engagement in 2011, and got back together again, and although the relationship may sometimes be on the rocks because of their conflicting schedules, with Hamilton often on the road for his Formula 1 races and Scherzinger busy judging the UK version of X Factor, they try to spend as much time as possible.
"You kinda have to look at the schedules because people will put something in any time that you have off and we're always working. We have to be like, 'OK, this week I'm going to try to make it to this race, if I don't, I've got this performance here; what can you do?' Every minute counts, you know?" Nicole explained earlier this year.
Although their relationship suffered in the past, Nicole is happy with Lewis and she believes they're "kindred" spirits. "Me and Lewis are from similar upbringings so we share a similar outlook. We're kindred spirits and hearts, that's what ultimately connects us," the singer revealed.
