Being a rap diva and perfume mogul might just not be enough for Nicki Minaj, who is reportedly finalizing negotiations to appear in the movie "The Other Woman" opposite Cameron Diaz.
The movie will be directed by Nick Cassavetes, also known for making "The Notebook," "Alpha Dog" and "My Sister's Keeper," and will also include "This is 40" star Leslie Mann, "Game of Thrones" hottie Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and bombshell Kate Upton.
The comedy centers on a woman (Diaz) who finds out that she is "the other woman" in an affair. She teams up with the wife (Mann) to get revenge on the husband (Coster-Waldau) and along the way find out he has yet another girlfriend (Upton).
Once negotiations are final, Minaj will play Cameron Diaz's opinionated assistant at a law firm.
For those of you who are still a little skeptical about Nicki Minaj joining the cast (oh, come on! We know what you're thinking!) you should know that she is a performing-arts school alum and she was actually cast in some Off-Broadway shows before her big musical break. You might also recognize her voice.
When asked about her participation on this film she said: "I may be working on something right now. I can't really say too much about it, but I definitely have the acting bug. That was my first love, so you just never know."
