Nick Minaj DJ Khaled: Rapper Reacts To Khaled’s Proposal [VIDEO]

Rumors have been running wild since DJ Khaled proposed to rapper Nicki Minaj on Thursday during an MTV News segment. Then to raise more questions Minaj was spotted wearing a huge diamond ring on her ring finger after his proposal. Thoughts were running wild, but Minaj has set the record straight.

"Khaled is my brother and Khaled was not serious with that damn proposal, y'all," the 30-year-old rapper told Funkmaster Flex Monday.

"I want to marry you," he said on-air holding a 10-karat, radiant-cut diamond ring worth approximately $500,000. "We got the same symptoms, we're both suffering from success."

"I was shocked just like the rest of the world and I was cracking up laughing with the rest of the world 'cause Khaled is a master at what he does," she told Flex. "It was just another way for him to kinda give the world a glimpse on the feeling of this record."

"I Wanna Be with You" features Minaj, Future and Rick Ross, and was released Monday in advance of the Miami-based DJ's new album on Sept. 24.

Although Minaj is brushing Khaled's proposal off as a hoax he did tell Us Weekly, "I was serious. She can take her time and think about it. At least she knows how I feel now."

As of now Minaj is still insisting it was a joke saying, "Please let it go. He was kidding," she added. "He's not attracted to me, he doesn't like me. We're brother and sister."
