Any happily married couple would fume with anger if someone hints that they’ll likely be heading for divorce soon. That’s why it’s understandable for newlyweds Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra to become so mad when an article said that they’re heading for splitsville just months after their wedding.

The article came from OK!Magazine, which recently ran an article saying that the couple is experiencing some trouble. What’s even more shocking is that the publication said that the couple is heading for divorce just after 117 days of marriage.

The publication hinted that the main reason for their marital issues is that they rushed into things. “They’ve been fighting about everything — work, partying, spending time together,” the magazine cited an unidentified insider. “The bottom line is that Nick and Priyanka rushed into things … and now they’re paying the price. Their marriage is hanging by a thread.”

The article even tried to paint Priyanka in a bad light. The article said that Jonas, who previously thought Chopra was “cool and easygoing,” is now starting to see “a controlling side to her.”

However, fact-checking site GossipCop has already debunked this rumor. In fact, the happy couple just vacationed in Miami where Jonas shared their photo on Instagram with the sweet caption “You are my sunshine my only sunshine.” Obviously, that doesn’t sound like a couple that’s supposed to be fighting over everything.

Similarly, Chopra has nothing but loving messages to post on her social media account these days. In a recent post, she posted a photo of her giving Jonas a kiss, which was captioned, “Making hay while the sun shines.”

While the nasty rumor has been debunked, Chopra does not want to let it go just like that. In fact, the actress is reportedly planning to sue the magazine for printing the story.

“Once she makes up her mind to deal with negative rumour-mongering, nothing can stop her,” a source close to the actress told India Today. “Priyanka will let loose her legal team on this news-manufacturing tabloid and ensure they get to their knees.”
