Security video captured "Black Triangle" unidentified flying object (UFO) hovering over a home for an hour in England.
It was spotted flying over a house in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, reported The Sun.
"Black Triangles" have been a common part of the UFO phenomena since the 1940s when the first wave of sightings happened. The objects appear floating in the sky as dark triangular shapes. They are often peppered with lights. Some of the them appear to float silently and have been described as up to 120 meters long.
The new video was first posted by UFO enthusiast Mick Proctor on the Skywatch Explorer YouTube channel earlier this month
.
Proctor said that a man who wanted to remain anonymous had given the video to him. The UFO hunter shared that the man said that it was on "his CCTV camera for an hour but could only send a 10- minute version as the file was too big." The man also didn’t "want to give the exact location where he lives," according to Proctor. One UFO enthusiast wondered if it’s the Air Force training.
The Pentagon is said to have a clear image of a "Black Triangle" UFO rising out of the ocean. It is yet to be released publicly. The photo's alleged existence was first reported in late 2020, and since then UFO enthusiasts have been begging for its release. The mysterious object was described as a large triangle with "blunted" edges and spherical white "lights" on each corner. The encounter is said to have occurred off the East Coast of America.
Other sightings of "Black Triangle" UFOs include the Phoenix Lights incident in Phoenix, Arizona in 1997. Another encounter was in 1990. At the time, two F-16 fighter jets in Belgium reportedly spotted a "Black Triangle". The object allegedly accelerated away at 1,120 miles per hour within seconds. It was a maneuver that "exceeded the limits of conventional aviation," said the Air Force back then.
Project Condign, a British military UFO investigation that ran from 1997 to 2000, also made mention of the shapes. But it dismissed them as similar phenomena to ball lightning.
