After Israel prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu completed his third surgery this year, experts scrutinized the leader's public image of good health.

Netanyahu underwent surgery to remove his prostate at Jerusalem's Hadassah Medical Center, reported News Nation Now, a move that underscores his purported healthy image.

The surgery became necessary after he was diagnosed with a urinary tract infection that was due to a benign, enlarged prostate.

While Netanyahu is expected to remain hospitalized for a few days, the hospital said the surgery had been "completed successfully."

Netanyahu once told the press that he worked for 18 hours a day, a feat that seems to be taking a toll on him.

Netanyahu, who is 75-years-old, represents world leaders who are part of the geriatric community, such as President-elect Donald Trump, 78, and President Joe Biden, 82.

Netanyahu's health became a concern last year, when doctors at Sheba Medical Center shared that he had a chronic heart condition after a fainting spell led to him to need a pacemaker to control his heartbeat—he had that surgery in July. He has also had a hernia surgery in March.
