With Chris Bosh’s future in doubt, there’s no telling where the star power forward will land next season. There’s no telling if he will even be playing due to complications with his lung. Many believe the Miami Heat will have to release him and take a salary cap hit while many others think Bosh may even retire.
But if Bosh does want to continue his NBA career, and it’s not with the Heat, he has a home in Los Angeles. Just ask Los Angeles Clippers power forward DeAndre Jordan.
Members of the media asked Jordan: “No matter what Bosh is going to play basketball. What are your thoughts on that?
“I wish him well. I hope he gets healthy soon,” said Jordan.
When asked “what should Bosh do if they don’t let him play,” Jordan responded by saying, “I think he should come to the Clippers.” Jordan even went on to say, “I would come off the bench.”
The odds of this happening appear to be very slim given the fact that Bosh still has four years and more than $95 million left on his contract making a trade virtually impossible. If Bosh were to join the Clippers it would more than likely come from a release and sign after becoming an unrestricted free agent. Still, even if the Heat do cut Bosh, he would have to pass a league mandated physical evaluation with the Clippers organization.
Bosh to the Clippers could be a good fit on the court, but given all the circumstances, it doesn’t appear very likely.
