Billionaire Trump ally Elon Musk is being mocked online after spending millions advocating for the conservative candidate running in Wisconsin's Supreme Court election, only for him to lose the race.

Liberal candidate Judge Susan Crawford beat her MAGA-supporting counterpart, Judge Brad Schimel, whose election campaign Musk spent about $25 million on. Not only did he funnel money into the race itself, but the Tesla founder traveled to Wisconsin for a rally where he awarded two Wisconsinites with $1 million each.

At the rally, Musk stated that the Supreme Court election was crucial for continuing President Donald Trump's agenda and for "the future of civilization".

"It's a super big deal," he said to his audience in Green Bay on Sunday night. "I'm not phoning it in. I'm here in person."

However, Schimel's loss brought about online ridicule directed towards Musk for his involvement in the former Wisconsin Attorney General's campaign.

"Are you butt-hurt that you lost after you poured 20 million into an open seat in the Wisconsin Supreme Court?" said one user. "It sounds like you're butt-hurt that you couldn't BUY an election."

"You lost motherf---er," wrote one X user.

"You are upset? Take the loss," said another, responding directly to Musk.

"Elon after spending millions trying to buy votes and still losing in Wisconsin," wrote another user, accompanied by a drawing of Musk crying at the election results.

"Stop. You lost bro. Just stop," one user said.

Following the results of the race, Musk criticized the American judiciary system and stated that the actual most important part of the recent election had been the addition of a voter ID requirement within Wisconsin.

"This was the most important thing," the billionaire wrote on X, sharing a post announcing that Wisconsin voters had voted to add a voter ID requirement to the state's constitution.

"The long con of the left is corruption of the judiciary," he then posted.

These posts resulted in him becoming subject to further ridicule, as several users appeared to view the posts as attempts to downplay his loss.

"Dems don't care. We understand people have been told that elections have been stolen and they believe it so whatever it takes for all Americans to trust our election process is fine. BUT YOU LOST THE RACE YOU CLAIMED WAS SOOO IMPORTANT. AND MAYBE YOU LEARNED A LESSON: AMERICANS CANNOT BE BOUGHT," wrote one user.

"ELON MUSK JUST SPENT $21 MILLION TRYING TO BUY A SEAT ON WISCONSIN'S SUPREME COURT — AND LOST. Now he's crying about judicial corruption?" another user wrote. "The only long con' here is a billionaire pretending to care about democracy while throwing tantrums when the people don't vote his way."
