
The Barclays Center is all set to play host to the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday August 25. The lineup includes performances by Lady Gaga, Justin Timberlake and the highly anticipated reunion of the 90's boy band sensation NSync. The father of NSync member Joey Fatone confirmed the reunion to RadarOnline saying, "They're doing a performance. I think it's exciting. I couldn't even say why he's doing it though. Why, at this point in his life? Now he's his own man. But it's more to the fact that MTV has made them all somewhat of stars."
Former NSync member, singer, actor and international superstar Justin Timberlake will be presented with The Michael Jackson Vanguard Award. "Roar" singer Katy Perry will also be performing at the VMA's for the fist time since 2009, she'll be singing her latest single off her new album "Prism." New dad Kanye West, Miley Cyrus, Drake, Bruno Mars and Robin Thicke are all scheduled to give the audience a show at the VMA'S. Miley Cyrus will perform "Can't Stop" and she has also been nominated for "best female Video.
Miley Cyrus Is getting ready for what she is calling an "iconic" performance at Sunday night's show. Speaking with MTV during rehearsals Cyrus said "Hopefully this is the best VMA performance of all time. That's the standard I'm setting. I just think it's going to be so much fun...feeling this energy in rehearsals, it feels so good. It was kind of this crazy dream that's what we've been having this past month, so now to have it come to life is really beautiful."
