Glasgow is lit up with the MTV EMAs 2014 and some of the biggest stars in music. Nicki Minaj is set to host the global event ruling the stage and presenting some of the biggest acts in music. Set to perform from the stage are Enrique Iglesias, Ed Sheeran, Ariana Grande and Alicia Keys. The festivities will begin airing at 2pm ET and we will have the lowdown on what your favorite artists wore and who won. The broadcast for the U.S. will be delayed with a special presentation starting at 7pm ET. The half-hour pre-show will have live performances from Fifth Harmony, Jake Miller and Nick Jonas from Miami. Starting at 7:30pm ET the main event starts from Scotland where we will also see an unforgettable moment when legendary rock band U2 takes the stage.
The MTV EMAs 2014 have made things extra interesting introducing the Worldwide Act category, where 10 acts from around the world will compete for an accolade. Fans nominated their favorite acts and the top act from ten different countries will now compete for that award. Representing Latin America is our very own Dulce María, the former RBD member. The "Va Por Ti" captain will face global acts like One Direction their tour mates 5 Seconds Of Summer and representing the USA, Fifth Harmonyamong others. "What an honor to be the first Mexican artist to receive this recognition," the singer said in a statement. "I am very grateful with my fans for giving us this happiness.
