A new "Mortal Kombat X" trailer from Russia recently leaked. Naturally, the latest MKX trailer features a number of special attacks and finishing moves that pushed the envelope in video game blood and gore. However, the video has unveiled the return of the legendary Liu Kang.
Liu Kang will be a playable character in the upcoming "Mortal Kombat X" game. The trailer shows that Liu Kang and Kung Lao are working for Shinnok ever since their souls fell into the Netherrealm back in 2011. In the latest title in the franchise, the trailer reveals the appearance of Bo' Rai Cho as well. There are no confirmed reports regarding whether Bo' Rai Cho will be a playable character, but we expect to find out very soon.
Finally, a NetherRealm Studios live stream revealed a number of new details regarding "Mortal Kombat X," including a new Kustom Kombat mode that is similar to Test Your Might, but features custom modifiers instead.
Interestingly, the list of custom modifiers available for Kustom Kombat mode was also revealed. Specifically, six modifiers including Stryker Assist, Smoke Assist, Rain Assist, Kabal Assist, Kabal Blades, and Cyrax Bombs, suggest that we may have yet another five additional fighters available for "Mortal Kombat X."
