We've been waiting for "Minecraft" to reach Xbox One, PS4, and PS Vita for ages, but it looks like we have still a while longer before the sandbox favorite is ready for the next-gen consoles. According to developers, the game has been thoroughly worked over to fix any bugs and improve the gameplay experience.
According to "Minecraft" developer 4J Studios, plans to release the game for PS4, Xbox One, and PS Vita faced a big set back when it did not pass Sony's stringent certification process for the Playstation 4 console. Now, 4J Studios confirmed that Minecraft is once again ready for certification at Sony.
"We have a bit more work to do on Minecraft PS Vita before we can hand it over to Sony," said 4J Studios. "Minecraft PS4 is back with Sony for final testing." According to speculations, Mincraft on PS4, PS Vita, and Xbox One is expected to debut sometime next month, September 2014.
Beyond the new title release for PS4, PS Vita, and Xbox One, 4J Studios will also bring updates to PS3 and Xbox 360 so that gamers will be able to upload current game saves to the next-gen consoles. Stay tuned as we learn more about "Minecraft" for PS4, PS Vita, Xbox One in the month ahead.
