Miley Cyrus will make her triumphant return to Saturday Night Live this weekend as host and musical guest. Last time controversy was surrounding the starlet for smoking salvia, but this year it's a whole other monster and Cyrus will have a lot more to fend off. After her infamous performance at the MTV Video Music Awards in a skimpy outfit, sexual "twerking" moves and foam finger humping, the "SNL" writers will have pleny of material to use across all their sketches. Just this week Cyrus has been feuding on Twitter with Sinead O'Connor, who also has a history with the NBC comedy show. Miley even uploaded a photo of the moment when the Irish singer ripped a picture of the pope on national television.
Cyrus will no doubt try to replicate what she did at the VMAs and "make history" to have people talking about her appearance for days, weeks and months. "Saturday Night Live" airs on Saturday, October 5 at 11:30pm ET/PT. If you already have plans for Saturday night you will be able to stream the show the day after on Hulu. Let's remember 5 of the best moments from Miley's last round at Studio 8H:
1. Miley's Opening Monologue
In her opening monologue Miley sings "I'm Sorry I'm Not Perfect" because her scandals were tame, like kissing someone and having the picture be all over the place. She felt that "may upset people" as she was not living up to what other stars were doing at the time like getting a DUI or "cheated on my wife like that golfer guy" or didn't "date a porn star and tell everyone I'm 'winning.'" This time around she will exceed expectations as the tables have been turned around.
2. Miley As Justin Bieber
In the sketch "The Miley Cyrus Show," in which comedian Vanessa Bayer plays Cyrus, Miley impersonated Justin Bieber and mocked her smoking salvia scandal because it's "totally legal yo."
3. Miley Makes Fun Of Her Former Employer
One of the funniest sketches of the night was the fake infomercial for the "Disney Channel Acting School" that mocked the over-the-top gestures that plague the actors on the kids network. The curriculum included Entering on a Scooter, Reacting To Stinky Feet, Being the Loudest One In The Room and Pause then Dis.
