Liam Hemsworth is, reportedly, moving next door to his ex-wife Miley Cyrus. A recent report has revealed that Hemsworth is planning to restore their $6.8-million Malibu home, which is located just next to the ranch that Cyrus is, currently, living in with her new boyfriend, Cody Simpson.
After dating on and off for almost a decade, Hemsworth and Cyrus tied the knot in 2018. However, they ended their marriage in August, just a few months after their wedding.
While Hemsworth and Cyrus have both managed to move on quickly from their split, it looks like Hemsworth won’t get away from his ex just like that. According to a source, Hemsworth is rebuilding the multi-million home that they used to live in together in Malibu. The said home was, reportedly, destroyed by the massive fires that hit Malibu last year.
It remains to be seen if Hemsworth will move to their old Malibu home after its restoration. But, it is still going to be awkward for Cyrus to pass by the sprawling estate and see her ex-husband overseeing the construction work on the home they once used to share.
Cyrus is, currently, living next to the property with her new beau, Simpson. The female singer started dating him shortly after her split from Kaitlynn Carter, whom she hooked up with just weeks after she called it quits with Hemsworth. Simpson, reportedly, moved into Cyrus’ ranch home earlier this October.
Meanwhile, the Malibu home that is undergoing renovation was purchased by Hemsworth back in 2014. Cyrus, who was still his girlfriend at the time, bought the $2.5-million ranch next to it two years later. Fans have yet to see if Cyrus will continue to live in the same neighborhood once Hemsworth decides to make his Malibu home his permanent residence after its restoration.
Hemsworth filed for divorce later in August, just weeks after he and Cyrus confirmed their split. The actor is believed to be currently dating actress "Dynasty" actress Maddison Brown.
