It's almost impossible to believe a 14-year-old boy already has seven studio albums, a starring movie role, a clothing line and a Latin Grammy award he got when he was only 9 years old. Yes, we're talking about Miguelito, the Puerto Rican sensation known for having a successful career at a very young age and for touring and performing alongside artists such as Daddy Yankee, Wisin y Yandel, and Don Omar.

Back in May, the young performer had just announced that he had signed a deal with independent label BlastMusic, and had a new album coming up titled "Here To Stay," slated for release in the Fall of 2013, and set to be his highly anticipated crossover into the American music scene. Nevertheless, the album's release was delayed for January, 2014, but that doesn't worry Miguelito too much, since its first single "Swaggin" was a success, and the newest single "Party Non Stop" is going down the same path.

"It's been an amazing journey," said Miguelito to Billboard Magazine's Justino Aguila in an interview that came as a result of all the hard work this teenager has been putting into his work. "I've been doing this most of my life. Nothing is easy in life. You've got to work hard," he said, realizing that landing an interview with Billboard is probably another milestone in his career.

His new partnership with BlastMusic came as the result of the label wanting to create a Latin division since Latin-influenced music is doing so great in the American market (Hello Pitbull, are you there?). Industry veteran Rogelio Macin is the head of that new division, and has been following Miguelito for a while. "I told [BlastMusic CEO] Ralph Tashjiam that we had an opportunity to invest out time and expertise into this guy. Then we started brainstorming and thought that it wasn't fair for him to forget about his Latin background." "We needed to go back into the studio and create some bilingual versions of the music to work with both worlds," he added.

After being introduced to Tashjiam, Pop/RnB/Hip Hop producer and composer, Andrew Lane, also joined the team. He has worked on many platinum selling albums including High School Musical, Hannah Montana, DisneyMania and Manny Fresh. "It's like having a dream team," Tashjian said. "After hearing the music and knowing that Andrew Lane was involved, it was like the pieces of a puzzle coming together."

"I see longevity in Miguelito," Lane added. "He's a leader and knows what he wants. I also see loyalty, and that means a lot. He can be an ambassador to be a great entertainer on a global level."
