Miguel, who recently released the song "#Beautiful" with Mariah Carey has proved that you don't really make it until you drive drunk and kick a couple of fans in the head. According to TMZ, Miguel was arrested for drunk driving early this morning. The "Adorn" singer was initially pulled over by California Highway Patrol due to heavily tinted windows on his 2013 BMW X6 and speeding. Miguel was pulled over on a L.A. freeway at around 2:15 AM, according to law enforcement sources.
During the traffic stop, officers noticed that Miguel was emitting an alcoholic odor, so they performed a series of field sobriety tests which he failed. The 27-year-old singer was also administered a breathalyzer test and blew a .10 and .11, which is over the legal limit of .08 in California.
Miguel was then arrested for DUI and booked in a nearby stationed, where he was released a few hours later on $5,000. Miguel has had a bit of trouble recently by making headlines for reckless behavior. During his performance of his hit "Adorn" at the Billboard Music Awards, the up and comer attempted a stage jump over the audience pit, but he came up short kicking on fan in the neck and pinning another fan's head under his leg. He attempted to jump a six foot jump between two stages at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, but Miguel landed directly on his backside and appeared to be clutching his knee after the hard fall.
